Brendan Friel - Owner / Guide
Brendan has been fishing since he could walk. He spent his childhood summers in New Hampshire fishing every waking minute possible. He moved to Montana in the fall of 1996 after leaving the mutual fund business in Chicago behind. He immediately fell in love with Montana and spent the next decade fishing the waters throughout the state and Alaska. He has spent the last eight summers as a fishing guide for one of the premier lodges in Alaska, beginning as an apprentice guide and working his way up the ranks to Head Guide and Operations Manager. With over 800 guide days on the water and the planning of countless fishing vacations, Brendan has an uncanny ability to make your fishing dreams become a reality, as he loves to be on the water as much as you do!

Justin Lawrence - Owner/Guide
Taught by his grandfather at an early age to fly-fish in the high southern Rockies of Colorado, Justin Lawrence’s passion for fly-fishing became his chosen profession. With 15 years experience, Justin has been fortunate to teach and guide anglers of all abilities on many different rivers in Alaska, Colorado, and Montana. Justin Lawrence along with Westslope Troutfitters, is committed to the conservation of trout and trout habitat. In 1999, Justin moved to the Flathead Valley with his wife, Kim, where they are currently enjoying their surroundings and raising 2 young daughters.Montana’s future fly-fishing guides.
